Master of Science in Food Science and Technology is a programme that focuses on the application of biological, chemical and physical principles to the study of converting raw agro products into processed forms suitable for storage and human consumption. This programme is particularly suitable for candidates with limited knowledge in the principles and applications related to food and who seek advanced degree in food science and technology.

Our graduates work in the food processing industries and are required to use their skills in food biology, chemistry, biochemistry, engineering and business to improve methods of processing, preservation and packaging in the distribution of food.  Most of our graduates find work in the research and development departments of food processing companies’ whiles others work in processing plants as quality assurance managers or production supervisors.

Other graduates are also self-employed and engaged in lucrative jobs in cereal, diary, root and tuber, and vegetable oil processing industries. Additionally, some of them teach in Universities and Polytechnics or work in government laboratories as food inspectors. We seek highly motivated students to join our team.
