Former FST student graduates with a distinction from the Queen’s University Belfast, UK
Edmund Larbi Afari has graduated with a distinction in Advanced Food Safety from the Queen’s University Belfast, UK. During his time at the University, he demonstrated exemplary leadership skills. He was a member of the School of Biological Sciences Postgraduate Committee, Course Representative and Queen’s postgraduate students committee member. Again, he was elected as part of the delegates to represent his university at the National Union of Students Conference-UK in Liverpool where critical decisions concerning students in the UK were discussed. Edmund was also invited to be part of a panel discussion on Northern Visions TV, a local TV station in Belfast where they discussed issues concerning food sustainability. He ended up with a Master’s degree and a degree plus certificate in Master Your Leadership and Master Your Future Success
