Timtey’s Restaurant & Café awarded the Western Regional Tourism Restaurant for the Year 2024
This year’s Western Regional Tourism Awards 2024 was organised under the theme ‘’Celebrating innovation and recognising excellence in Ghana’s Tourism Sector.’’ The event took place at the Grove Essipon Beach Resort, Essipon over the weekend.
The awards were given to deserving industry practitioners, individuals and corporate organisations, enterprises and input suppliers in recognition of a demonstrated operational excellence and commitment toward the growth of the tourism industry. They were aimed to promote healthy competition among operators and enhance the relationship between the Ghana Tourism Authority and its stakeholders.
Timtey’s Restaurant and Café based in Tarkwa was adjudged the Restaurant of the Year 2024 – Grade 2 in recognition of her excellence and outstanding performance in the food and beverage industry in the Western Region. Founded five years ago and located on the Hilltop Junction off the Tamso-Nsuta main road, the restaurant specializes in continental dishes, freshly pressed juices and pro-biotic yogurts.
